In the second year of commoditized generative AI, we’ve now moved beyond the hype and into real world use of AI for generating test content. In this session, an expert moderator will marshal the practical experiences of three global tech leaders who've implemented generative AI in assessment technology. They'll provide tangible advice on using AI to broaden testing capabilities, while ensuring content quality and assessment validity.
The issues to be covered:
· What have we learned?
· What are the pros and cons of using AI in generating questions?
· How much more productive does AI make authors?
· What about the potential for bias?
· Does this work in non-English languages?
· What are the security and legal considerations?
· Which AI tools are most effective?
· What aspects of test development and item bank management can AI assist?
· What is likely to happen next?
