DETAILS

In my 17 years as a creativity coach and writing teacher, I’ve worked with lots of writers at all stages of their projects and career, facing all kinds of issues during the creative process.

You know, issues like struggling with writer’s block, procrastination, and wrangling with our inner editor.

There’s lots in the market right now about the writing process but I don’t see anything that deeply addresses using NLP for people like you and I who…

-- are working diligently on writing new and exciting projects, but are still struggling with motivation
-- have good ideas about how to make our workflow, but feel stuck implementing them
-- want to change our writing and productivity habits, but don’t know where to start
-- want to access our inner resources, but can’t seem to find our creative wells

I’m putting the finishing touches on a program where I will teach you how I’ve made neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) work for me in my creative writing process.

The neuro-linguistic programming toolkit that I use, from NLP Marin, is a transformational heart-centered approach to communication that I first learned about in a business training years ago. Intrigued, I became certified at NLP Marin after 600 hours of training and practice.

Using NLP, we can learn how to:

-- ask questions of ourselves in open, honest, and inquisitive ways
-- better understand human’s code for better character development
-- edit with more awareness
-- get “unstuck” in our stories
-- write more compelling fiction to enchant and delight your readers

Join us for a workshop called NLP for Fiction Writers May 20 at 4:30 p.m. PST/7:30 p.m. EST. Because collaborations are fun (and so I don’t have to do all the things), I’ve teamed up with my friend, Stacy Juba, an author, freelance developmental editor, and the founder of Shortcuts for Writers, to bring this opportunity to my audience and hers.

I’ll be the instructor and Stacy will host the workshop replay and materials in her Shortcuts for Writers online course platform. Not only will you have the opportunity to attend live, but you’ll also get lifetime access to the replay.
