Transforming your classroom to one steeped in mastery learning can seem like crossing an ocean in a raft, but it doesn't have to be that way. Mastery learning is truly transformative for students and teachers but if your ship never leaves port your students won't be able to experience the joy that comes from accessing their own "I've got this" moments. Set Sail for Mastery Learning will help you approach mastery learning from a "lake approach", starting small and using a one-or two day approach, participants will learn how to break down standards into DOK targets, create multiple versions of formative assessments and learn the water hazards to watch out for as they adjust their sails to explore new worlds and create masterful moments for their students.
